Each year we honor and celebrate our sister Jubilarians. Jubilee is a special time to rejoice with our sisters as they celebrate 25, 50, 60, 70, 75 and 80 years of faithful love and service to God through their vowed commitment as School Sisters of Notre Dame.

This Jubilee year of celebration and commemoration provides an opportunity for each Jubilarian to renew her vows. Our 2023 Jubilarians will celebrate the “Prophetic Witness to Universal Communion.” The occasion of Jubilee is also a time for all sisters of the province and international congregation to express gratitude to God and to our Jubilarian sisters for their faithful love.

This year, Sister Kathy Schmittgens and Sister Lucille Coughlin wrote a beautiful Lenten reflection that connects Laudato Si’ quotes with readings of the Gospel. Follow along each week with a different reflection! School Sisters of Notre Dame are a Laudato Si’ Congregation. This means we have started on a seven-year commitment to participate in the healing of Earth, and to living in right-relationship with all in our planet’s community of life.
