Women's Leadership Luncheon 2021

Women's Leadership Luncheon 2021. The theme for 2021 is Care of Creation.

“Because the earth and its resources are God’s gift to all humanity, we are reverent, just, and sparing in our use of created things, concerned for the needs of present and future generations.”

~ You Are Sent, GD 19a, Constitution of the School Sisters of Notre Dame

Care of Creation, the theme of the 2021 Virtual Women’s Leadership Luncheons, is not a new idea, but the urgency of the topic seems to grow every year. From recycling to using solar power, there are many ways to help protect the world in which we live. Our 2021 speakers are innovators and leaders in their communities, committed to caring for creation. Those who attend will learn more about Care of Creation and the many ways women lead the way in protecting the Earth.

The School Sisters of Notre Dame believe that we are deeply interconnected with the whole community of life and are especially responsible for the land that is in our care. With gratitude for God’s gifts of air, soil, water, plants, animals and humans in the Earth community, School Sisters of Notre Dame act with respect and reverence for our environment. Through eco-living practices, food choices, land use, eco-literacy, and advocacy, School Sisters of Notre Dame work to protect God’s creation.

The 2021 Women’s Leadership Luncheons have gone virtual! We are excited to be able to present our annual luncheons online through a generous donation from Ann Kampeter. Event is free, however registration is required. Select one of the locations below to learn more and register for a virtual event.
