Join us for the 23rd and Final Season of The Rose Ensemble on Sunday, April 14, 2019, at 2 p.m. The Rose Ensemble will be presenting the Voices of Angels: The Benedictine Gregorian Chant and Choral Music from Baroque Italy. The Voices of Angels will explore Medieval plainchant and magnificent, virtuosic vocal compositions by 17th-century nuns and monks from Milan and Bologna in honor of Saints Benedict and Scholastica. This program includes works for voices and instruments by Lucrezia Orsina Vizzana (1590-1662), Caterina Assandra (1590-1618), Chiara Margarita Cozzolani (1602-1678), and others.
