Embracing change: The impact of technology

The School Sisters of Notre Dame are undergoing significant transformations as they shift toward smaller communities, with technology playing a crucial role in their mission. It allows sisters throughout the Central Pacific Province to connect, pray, learn and support one another, effectively bridging distances.

Sisters express the importance of having access to technology and training to uphold their global vision. For aging sisters, devices such as smartphones and tablets enhance their participation in gatherings and significant events. Some sisters share that technology empowers even the oldest sisters to remain actively engaged with others, as they live out their unwavering dedication to transforming the world through education, regardless of their age.

The sisters are committed to their mission and staying connected via technology is essential for them to continue touching lives in the various communities where they live. Your contribution will help sustain and strengthen their bond through technology as they navigate this profound shift.
