2019 in Review

Associates logoSchool Sisters of Notre Dame Associates

2019 was a grace-filled year. Our associate relationship with the School Sisters of Notre Dame continues to transform and mature as we strive to live the SSND charism in our own lives. We had many opportunities to meet some urgent needs, from raising funds to help feed breakfast burritos to migrants, to reaching out to support the SSND ministries along the southern border, to helping make salsa to raise funds for women with needs not being met other ways. We are also aware of the transitions that the sisters are making during this time in the province and have visited and celebrated with the sisters who have moved from Chatawa to St. Anthony’s Garden in Covington, Louisiana.

A photo from an SSND associate in Guatemala with rugs made. Here are a few facts from the year:

  • 315 associates
  • 17 new associates
  • 9 deaths
  • Associates gathered in 13 states, Guam and Japan.

We are grateful for the support of the sisters and staff throughout 2019!
