Journey to Jerusalem

We pray with and for one another as we journey to Jerusalem during these holiest of days.

HOLY THURSDAY

I received from the Lord what I also handed on to you, that the Lord Jesus, on the night he was handed over, took bread, and, after he had given thanks, broke it and said, “This is my body that is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way also the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.”

How do I give thanks? How do I remember Jesus’ action in my life each day?

 

GOOD FRIDAY

After Jesus had taken the vinegar he said, “It is accomplished” and bowing his head he delivered over his spirit.

HOLY SATURDAY

So, Joseph took the body, wrapped it in a clean shroud and put it in his own new tomb . . . . He then rolled a large stone across the entrance of the tomb and went away. Now Mary of Magdala and the other Mary were there, sitting opposite the sepulcher.
